Refund Policy
How refunds, billing errors, unused credits, and failed API requests are handled.
Effective date: 2026-08-25
Scope
This policy applies to purchases of prepaid SerpBase API credits and related digital-service orders. It supplements mandatory consumer law and the buyer terms of the payment provider identified at checkout.
Refund eligibility
You may request a refund within any mandatory cancellation period or the period offered by the applicable payment provider. For purchases processed by Paddle, requests may be made within 14 days of the original transaction, subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
For Creem or another provider, its buyer terms and checkout procedures determine the applicable request window. Unused credits are generally eligible within that window. Used credits or consumed digital services may be deducted or non-refundable where permitted by law.
Billing and delivery problems
- Contact us promptly about duplicate or unauthorized charges, an incorrect package, missing credits, or a payment marked complete without delivery.
- We may verify the account, receipt, transaction reference, usage history, and payment-provider status.
- Approved refunds are returned through the original method or the provider's buyer-support process; processing time depends on the provider and financial institution.
Failed requests
When our system identifies a service-side failed API request, credits may be restored automatically under operational rules. A restored credit is not a cash refund. Requests that return usable results, fail because of invalid input, exceed documented limits, or are blocked for prohibited use generally do not qualify for restoration.
Abuse, chargebacks, and exceptions
We may decline requests involving fraud, refund abuse, materially consumed credits, or violation of the Terms, except where refund rights cannot legally be limited. Before filing a chargeback, contact us so we can investigate. A reversal may cause associated credits to be removed and the account restricted.
How to request
Email support@serpbase.dev from the account email and include the transaction or receipt ID, purchase date, package, reason, and relevant evidence. Do not send full card details.
Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable statutory rights. We may update this policy prospectively by posting a new effective date.
